What is Project 42?

Project 42 was launched in 2010 as a way for people in the upper midwest to come together and share an intellectual conversation about “Life, the Universe, and Everything.”
The name - an homage to Douglas Adams’ “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” - sums up our purpose: To find the true answers to all things, without dogma, myth, or superstition.

Humans are a curious creature. We are hard-wired to live our lives around a belief system, but have you ever wondered why we believe what we believe? Ever felt like what you’ve always been told to believe in has doesn’t quite add up? You’re not alone.

With world-renowned speakers PZ Myers, Brother Richard Haynes, Robert M. Price, Richard Carrier, and Michael Shermer, this is going to be one amazing, not-to-be-missed event!
This years convention will be at the beautiful Ramada Suites and Convention Center in Fargo, ND.
